what are the best wheels for a silver z tahts going to be racing on auto x/ road racing.... volk? (rays) wrok? enkei? BBS? ETC...
AND WHAT SIZES WITH WHAT TIRES....

There are no best wheels, sizes and offset for either sport.

Race with your current set-up for a season. Learn about SCCA classes and modifications. Next season you will be ready to make a decision.

i want lighter weight, looks of course... whats the prefered size/s

Normally I would recommend Volk, but if it's for a SILVER Z, then definitely go for the Zinik. Here's a link that can help you out...

Seriously though, look around this forum before posting probably the most generalized question I've ever read here. Obviously the smaller the wheel, the lighter (a 17" wheel will usually be lighter than a 19") but the larger wheel will look better (a 19" will usually look better than a 17"). Color and style is completely your opinion. What I think looks good you may think looks like poo. There are hundreds of threads with pics of rims.
