I have a set of VOLK GT7 and i just got RAYS lug nuts for them my question is how many pounds of torque I have to put on them when install

tork huh? i use 75-80ft/lbs.

 

eull kneed a tork reench.

 

asking because last week I over tight them and coming back from NJ my car felt really weird ... them I pull over on the side of the road and found out that 2 of the wheel stud were broken... and other 2 loose just one was tight (very scary sh!!!%&^%#)

Anywhere between 80-90ft/lbs is good. BTW it's spelt torque.

 

80-90 is good for the street ive seen the studs break at that high torque on the track but if you dont track it its fine. Sadly nissan decided it would be a great idea to make weak wheel studs on a sports car.

 

If it's like the other Volk wheels, the recommended torque is around 75 ft-lbs.

 

I use 80ft-lbs

 

70-80 ft lbs..

What'd you do jump on the breaker bar? 80 lb/ft is not that tight at all. Think theres a DIY write up on changing out the lugs. GL.
