Default 20" wheels

Do you think 20" wheels are to much for the 350Z?

too much? nah, seen em, if you like 20" rims, youll like em on a Z.

a little off the intended path of a sports car? yeah.

but diversity is what makes our cars special I suppose.

what's great about the Z is you can go with 18's and do the "race" thing.... or go with 20's and "pimp" it.... it works either way...

try doing that with an S2000

if you want 20's go for it!

I was dead set against them as I thought they were too big for the car, but they were kind of "forced" on me and I am really happy with the result. I'll still probably be getting an extra set of 18s to use for "everyday" use, but I am still one of the converted.

20s are fine for the Z. but you should consider if you are for "show" or for "go". because the 20s would hamper your performance with excess weight, etc. but if you are only driving the Z strictly for show, then go for the 20s. good luck and post some pics if you get them.

Too big IMO. The 19s are just enough to fill up the wheel wells.
Why go higher.

with 20s, what size tires do you guys run? just tryin to imagine that with 18s, typical size is 245/45/18

thats 110mm of sidewall, then your adding 2" of rim, so removing an inch worth of sidewall, which in mm is 25.4mm now your down to 84.6mm of sidewall... which on say a 275, would be a 275/30/20???

***** of steel if you run those.

Id assume youd have/want to stay at atleast a 35series tire, but then your overall diameter is off, more or less in an effort to increase your rim size, you would effectivly be increasing your gearing, and raising the car. also limiting the amount that you could later drop the car.

you COULD run 275/30/20, but damn, are people actually using a 30series on the street?

Actually I'm running 285/30/20 (ZR) tire on the rear rims (10.5").

Default Running 20's

As you see by my signature I have 20's with the car lowered 1.2 inch. It looks great and I have had nothing but compliments everywhere but here (knuckleheads with stock 17's) As far as performance, there really is no noticable difference. Go for it!
