Wheel Spacer Install Question???
so i ran across a problem while installing wheel spacers just now. the rears went on with no problem, but i couldn't get the fronts on.
The problem I have is with the bolt that protrudes from the rotor hat. I know the bolt itself can be removed, but the thing that the bolt goes into still protrudes from the rotor if i am not mistaken, preventing the wheel spacer to sit flush against the rotor hat.
So, how am i supposed to install the front spacers? Are special spacers made that account for that bolt thing, or does that whole piece that protrudes from the rotor hat actually come off?
all help appreciated, and if it's something really stupid go ahead and flame... i'll deserve it
just for reference here is a picture of the brake assembly. shouldn't make any difference but i have the brembos.

It's stupid, but I won't flame. Remove the bolt. It's only there to ensure that you don't rotate your tires and put the stock rear rims on the front.
There have been quite a few threads on this over the years. Take comfort that you are not the first.
