It wont be a prblem. I ran a 9.5 +30 with a 295 and plenty of room left. You will be straight.

I have 10 inch wide rears with a +26 offset. Tires are 275/35/19 and i have about less than a cm clearance without a fender roll.

I payed 2000 shipped for my rims with tires....you could have gotten some nice enkei's for well under 2000 with tires.

I personally wouldn't put any of those wheels on my car. I think our cars look much better with a big lip on them.(Just my opinion) And Enkei doesn't provide any wheels with a big lip that i like. Anyways the point is that i like the wheels that i bought. I was just asking everyones opinion on the fitment. Thanks to those of you who helped me out

Tire Rack sells Motegi. I'd say they qualify as a vendor of higher quality sports car goodies. Don't pee on someone just because they don't want to spend two months wages on wheels.

sounds like someone should have researched these sizes prior to buying these wheels, that way there would be no "will this rub" questions after the fact.

I bought my Z by myself when I was 20. Now I'm 21 I have to work to pay for tuition at the University of Washington (no financial aid), rent, car payment, food, books, insurance. You're telling me it's tough? Pshh get real. All the local members can vouch that I'm not lying. I even have a fiance and you know how expensive it is to take care of a girl.

I am not putting you down. I'm saying you need to KNOW that others have it even harder than you. When I first started I was ab out to order some of these same wheels from ebay too. But instead of spending 1800 on them I ended up spending 1600 on 19" SSR GT-2 on the forum that are forged and work my way up from there. You can do it too so being on a budget isn't an excuse.

For the question at hand your offsets are going to look sunken in. You will need spacers especially if you're dropping your car lower (assuming you're at stock height now)

Those offsets are not as bad as you say they are. Not everyone wants to be sticking out past the fender

I'm not talking about sticking past the fenders. I'm saying they're not going to sit flush with the fenders. His wheels are 18x10+30 which is similar to a 10.5+35 I used to have 19x10.5+30 on my Z and THAT'S not even flush. And when I say "flush" this is what I mean

19x10.5+30 with 275s - aka NOT flush with the fenders

19x11+29 with 285s - Notice how the 11" rear wheels combined with larger tire size is flush. That's why I said it'll look flush if he's not dropped but once he lower it then it'll be sunken in.

lol@ you always showing a picture of your car.

I have 18 x 9.5 +20 up front and that is pretty flush. What your telling him is your opinion..He has already bought the wheels and is probably going to put them on the car so your lecture on better looking offsets are rendered moot. I'm sure in time if the offsets bother him that much he will do something about it(and should), however, there are many people who don't like to throw money down the drain by switching rims out every 2 seconds.

i think my 19x9.5 10.5 +22 offset sits flush but someone like devil jon would prolly disagree. he runs like +5 offset

He will be fine with the offsets he has. I ran my wheels at a 10.5" on a +43 and it was fine. I put spacers on the rears to push them out and honestly it isn't that much different in terms of look. I ran them out to a +23 and the tires rubbed on a moderate drop (hotchkis) and just over 1 degree of camber. You are pushing some SERIOUSLY agrressive offsets that most don't want to run. They would be running excessive camber, smaller tires, or roll their fenders just for a few more mm.

here are my pics with a so insanely conservative offset, one would have to be out of their mind to run them

I agree with your sarcastic statement seeing how this last pic shows how sunken in your wheels are

I used to have SSR GT-2 with +43 rears and that was a 10.5" rear wheels when I was NOT dropped and even then it looks sunken in. Yes I understand my offsets are aggressive but my new setup will be even more...19x11+17 but I am still retaining a -2 camber and that's still OEM specs. And no I'm not even running small tires....285s are good with that. I also don't see how you can rub with a +23. I had 19x10.5 +23 SF Challenges and I did not rub at all - btw I'm dropped 1.2" running 275s at the time. I had WAY too much clearance. Here's a pic of that.

Note that at this time my fenders were NOT rolled and I still had plenty of space so I can't believe you would rub with the same offset. And even if you have 285s it still wouldn't rub because of the low drop rate of the hotchkis

The thing you forget to tell people is that in order to sit truely flush you HAVE to roll your fenders. The inner lip of the fender extends inwords almost 3/4"

also, in the last pic, the car is sqauting due to be strapped on the dyno. I am not saying my wheels weren't tucked. Just that they aren't so bad that they looked comical or embarrising like you tend to imply they would

I was running a +23 offset on 10.5" rear with a 295/35/18 tire and on a moderate to large bump, the tires would hit/rub on the fender. IMHO, a +28 is a perfect offset. it is about the most aggressive you can run without rubbing; with still being able to run just about ANY tire you want along with neutral camber and without rolling your fenders

285 what??? Thats kinda important in your statement and arguement. And you have 11 inch wide wheels , so your stretching the tire making it even shorter.
