CR Kai's are not offered in black, you would have to have them painted or powdercoated yourself

May want to look at the Rota Torque in black as Work does not offer that color.

Yes they are made in black, satin black to be specific it's just a special order.

Edit they also make a black so they have both.

clicky

we're on of their biggest US dealers, trust me, they aren't made in black

They used to offer a custom powdercoating service that was done once the wheels arrived here in the US, but they are no longer offering that service

But it's certainly easy enough to do via powdercoating or paint

I'm not saying your wrong or anything but what your saying is that the work wheel website is wrong then, which i can believe. It's weird but i've seen black cr kais with red work decals on an S14 probably the same one the op saw.

You said they used to do it so my guess is the guy with the S14 got those wheels a long while back.

Just went to the Japanese Work site and they don't have them. My apologies to the Op for giving you the wrong info and to Z1 i just like to double check info. If I see info somewhere else and i can find it twice or three times then it's hard to believe someone even if it's a vendor. Work USA needs to change there info and so does a couple of online stores.

As mentioned, the custom color program was not something Japan ever offered on the cast series of wheels. That was something that was done by Work USA, but it got to be too much of a hassle, and they have since stopped offering it on a per order basis. A dealer can request a certain color scheme if they so choose, but that order has to be in bulk, and the custom colors are done in the US, not in Japan.

white or bronze is all they ever should have been made in.

I actually think those black with red letters are pretty damn cool!

I would buy them if they still offered that color option.
