Default Wheel and Tire Delima

Here is the delima:

I currently have a set of Motegi 18X9 & 18X10 which I had plans to get wrapped in the Toyo Proxes T1R's. 295/35 out back and 265/30 up front.

I've recently came across a nice set of wheels 19X9.5 30mm offset & 19X10.5 25mm offset. The deciding factor for buying the wheels is the tires for the 19's. Im looking for a good set of 315's in the rear and 265's up front.

Yes I know the 315's will "bulge" some, but not too bad. With the front and rear offsets it looks like they would fit but will need the fenders rolled. The issue Im having is with finding the right tires with the aspect ratio that wont set off the TCS and will be the same brand/make.

I've got alot of promissing leads but I want to see what other people are running.

So far the only only one I found that meet the above criteria is the Goodyear Eagle F1 SC tires. with a wopping 315/35 R19 rear and 265/30 R19 front. Im still searching and have been for the past 2 days for countless hours.

So any feed back on the delima?

Thanks for your help

why are you sold on running 315's on the rear? IMHO, even if you have big HP, it isn't worth it. I doubt even with a fender roll that a 315/40/19 will fit without rubbing.

I would stick to a 285 or 295/35 for the rear and run a 255/35 or 265/35 front. I just don't think the 315 will be worth the hassle or price

315/40/18 is also going to be taller than stock. Maybe move down to a 35 series if so?

I'm running 275 all around and seem to be doing fine.

315/35/19 is way too tall, 315/30/19 or 315/25/19 is what you should be looking for.

Well according to this: http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCal...?action=submit

the 30's are 5.71% too fast (smaller diameter) and the 25's are 10.13% too fast (smaller diameter). th 35's are 1.29% in spec.

If I have to stay at 295 them its not worth it to buy new wheels since I can fit that on my current setup. Just doesnt make financial sence or preformance sence. Why pay a weight penalty if your not going to get some grip benifit?

Not looking so good for the new wheels .

You must have plugged in your number wrong then. A stock 19" tire size is 245/40/19. The 315/30/19 is 1.02% too small, while the 315/25/19 is 5.66% too small. However, the 265/30/19 is already 3.19% shorter than stock, the 315/25/19 will make the relative differences between front and rear less. I would personally aim for 315/30/19. The taller tire also runs a higher risk of rubbing.

Yeah Im slightly retarded when it comes to tires. I tried searching to prevent getting flammed, and came up with thta calculator. But I was under the impression it was asking for STOCK tire not stock dimensions on new width. Otherwise, how can you compare true circumfrence if you dont start with the original OEM size?

Yeah my numbers seemed high but I guess I was trusting the calculator and the diameter manual calculations matched up so I presumed the tool was correct.
