20 if you want to impressive the newbies. 19's if you want more little more towards looks than performance. 18's look great as long as the car is lowered significantly, best performance/looks ratio this way. 17's for the track and you dont give a f what they look like.

hahaha aright i definatly didn't read over my post befor i sent it i was rushing to type it up before i went to work hoping for replys when i would get home lol...sorry about that ill make sure i revise next time..but um thanx for all the opinions i think ill probably go with the 19's because it seems the most realistic size that sits between looks and performance...and well see i might be taking one of the replys to my posts opinion they had of the 19's in the front 20's in the rear with the r77 i posted...does anyone wanna share there opinion on that idea also?

20" takes away from the whole sports car thing IMO. I also think you really start to get robbed of some power/acceleration with the 20's

I have 19s. Looks perfect imo.

20" is how you brag that your d*ck is 1" bigger I guess.

I personally love the way 19's look. Just get some lightweight 19's, and you'll be all set.

It's all personal preference ^_^

As a general rule of thumb that I learned in buying aftermarket wheels:
Go +1" over stock to be most optimum.

I use to think 20's on a Z were hidious but it really depends on the style of the wheel. Some 20's in person look like 19's, some 19's look like 20's, etc..

I personally would never run them because of how thin the sidewalls are. I cringe everytime I hit a pothole with a 245/35/19 front tire, so I can't imagine what a 245/30/20 tire up front would be like.
