Maybe look at the Advan AVS T5, similar split 5 spoke design

BTW, those advan rims look like what I'd be looking for.

I like the 5 split-spoke design of the wheel. I also happen to like how it tapers towards the outside of the rim. I think when it is straight or tapers towards the center of the rim, it looks a lot chunkier and heavier. When it narrows towards the outer edges of the rim, it looks more ethereal. Never mind that the mass being biased towards the center of the rim would have less rotational inertia than mass being biased towards the outside of the rim. I also think it's more likely to have lower weight overall as well.

Geez, y'all are so quick to hate! It has nothing to do with Corvette love or anything like that. (Although I would graciously accept a C6 'Vette, if one were to drop into my lap. Of course, then I'd have to get it retrofitted for a cripple - hand operated throttle, etc. - if it WERE to drop into my lap!) I just happen to think that the rim pictured is a good example of what I'm looking for. Chill out!

I'd take the new Z06 over a 350Z/G35/G37 any day. I don't generally like domestics, and I've been a Nissan guy for nearly a decade. Those Vette rims look good!

going to the outer lip of the rim, just makes them look smaller to me

Corvette > 350Z in all performance aspects, so your analogy falls apart right there. Besides... take away the Corvette logo, tell everyone they are Volks, and 90% of the posters here will be like "ZOMG, those are freaking HAWT!!11!!!"
