Default Gun-metal GT-C's on a Sunset LeMans

These are just prelim pics. My car has been in the audio shop for 3 weeks so ot is really dusty....I'll post better pics when I get the car back next week and I install my Stop Tech's....Still waiting on my Cusco coilovers so the car will still be stock height.

Am gonna also post some prelim pics of my audio/video/nav install, so check out those pics as well.....

Just a minor quibble... I feel the need to say it since I'm a fellow LS owner: it's "LeMans Sunset"... not Sunset LeMans.

3 weeks of audio work (along with other stuff perhaps)?!?! How can you be away from your baby for so long?

DrCold,

Good luck getting your wheels! Haha, I tried getting some GT-C's in Mercury Silver and waited almost 3 months and still didnt' get nothing and that was just for the 8.5 and 9.5. I think I read you wanted 10.5 so good luck getting those on before the summer's over. At least Streetsports seems like they are still able to get them to their customers by the 90 day period.

BZNYZ- good choice on the GT-C's!

And I ordered my wheels the beginning of Feb and got them in in mid May....

Yeah, Streetsports says im looking at a minimum of 90 days. It doesn't help that i ordered the 9.5/10.5 combo either. After i had placed my order, i found that i could have had the 8.5/9.5 combo in under a month. But it was too late, and i couldnt cancel my order. Now i just cant wait. What is it with having to wait for everything? I'm waiting for my Borla to ship, I'm waiting for my wheels, I'm waiting to win the lotto...

I dunno much about these dealers and how Mackin works, but I do know that these dealers can send back wheels to Mackin and none of their orders are set in stone once placed since they have on-going accounts with one another (especially the authorized Mackin dealers). I know they can send wheels back and forth cuz the dealer I went through was doing it with Mackin. I also had ordered GT-C's and I got GT-7's just like BZNYA was given the option of taking those wheels. What happened was Mackin tried to give me wack offsets for the GT-7's so I completely cancelled my order with the dealer after some negotiating (they had guaranteed my GT-C's in April) and went and got my wheels somewhere else. If the orders are set in stone, that would not be possible obviously. They are full of sh** when they say you are locked in but unfortunately we have no leverage when it comes to these highly specialized luxury items :P Good luck getting your wheels. They'll look NICE when they arrive.

They told me that because mine where more of a custom order or something that they could not cancel the order after it was submitted to Mackin. Hmm, maybe i should have pushed the issue a little bit more. I'm pretty much at the point i dont care, i should just wait to get the 9.5/10.5's. I've waited this long, whats a little bit longer.
