Default 18x9+25, 18x10+25 as Wide as Possible

I have Work Meister S1 3p.

Spec.
F: 18x9 +25
R: 18x10 +25

What's the widest tire size that I can mount on this spec. wheels without rubbing, rolling, any modifications? I was thinking 255/35 on front and 295/35 on rear.

I have a 04.5 Touring Roadster. Stock tire sizes were 225/45/18 & 245/45/28 but that doesn't really help. Anyone knows the stock wheel spec. for my Z including the offset numbers? Then I can use one of those fancy offset calculators to find out myself.

Thanks.

Don't u think that profile is too low? I don't mind my speedometer gets throw off but that will also make my odometer read about extra 69 miles higher for every 1000 actual miles I run...

I was expecting additional less than a full degree of negative camber. Am I wrong? I'm not lowered, yet. I mean this much I can fix it quickly with the camber kit. If more, I might just go with 285/35.

EDIT: Thinking about TEIN S. Lowering Springs...

An offset calculator will not help with tire selection.

A 295 will probably rub, stick with 285 if you don't want to roll the fender.

your speedometer will read more accurate with a 295/30 opposed to a 295/35 - the series of the tire is all dependent on the width, so a 295/35 has a taller sidewall than a 275/35

With those offsets, you could DEFINITELY run a 255f and 295f rear. on the rear, if you go too much more agressive on the offset, you will be in danger of rubbing

Actually, 295/35 is the correct diameter since he has 18" wheels.

Yeah it will, I can look up both stock and new wheels spec and get the numbers for in. clearances and out. position measurements then take the differences. Record and add the section widths divided by 2 to both end; stock and new wheels. Compare these numbers to actual space you have available in your car with stock on. Compare the overall dia./2 or sidewall height and check.

Yes and no. The front is just perfect. But the rear should be 275/40-18 for a flawless match, as well, with a mere 0.1% error.

275/35 front with that rear will be a great combo.

This is correct. Unfortunately only two known companies make UHP Summer tires in a 255/40

275/35 is pretty dam close to the proper height, and will keep understeer to a min when running really wide rear tire.

Thinking about buying Toyo T1R...

What's the different between their RD(Reinforced) T1R and non-RD?

A 295/35/18 on a 10" +25 rim will rub unless the lip is rolled. I have a 295/30/19 on a 10" +25 wheel and it will rub with camber in spec.

For a 9" +25 front wheel a 275/35/18 tire is the one to go with. 255 is too narrow. I am running a 275/30/19 front on a 9" +22" tire and it fits perfectly with no rubbing.

I am running a 295/35/18 on a 18x10.5 +28 and it is just fine. I am running around -1.2* camber <-which is very nuetral.

In relation a 10" wide wheel with a +25 will give another 3mm of clearance on the fender size. The OP should have NO issue running a 295 if his 10" wheel is a +25 offset
