Default logo on rims

what does that little logo stand for on the 06-07 rims? i've also seen it on other stock japanese imports rims (my friend's miata and a toyota highlander).

it looks like a "Mc" or something. forgive my stupidity.

are you looking at it upside-down? There's a JWL symbol that's all connected together (looks like an Mc upside down.

Anyway, JWL indicates conformance with the "Japanese Wheel Light Metal" standard...

At least that's what my AME manual says...
