What size tires do I need?
I just bought a 03 z m/t enthusiast. And I was wondering what size tires do I need to go with. The tires that are on it are. Back 245/45/r17 and the front are 235/45/r17. The car is 100% stock, and I use the car for daily driving. Also I was wondering if they need to be z rated.

I would keep the same size as the stock ones if you plan on staying stock tires and everyting in the future. If you need new tires (i believe same size as you mentioned) I have a set i need to put for sale with only about 200 miles on them.

Your Enthusiast model has TCS, so you need to maintain the proper overall diameter stagger (front to rear).
Stock wheel/tire sizes for your car:
F-225/50WR17
R-235/50WR17
Your current wheel/tire sizes are:
F-235/45-17”
R-245/45-17”
I like your current wheel/tire sizes. They match the stock overall diameter stagger (important for proper TCS function), but have a wider tread (that provides better handling and appearance/esthetics).

No you dont need Z rated tires even though it would keep to the whole Z theme... LOL
You may be able to run a little wider tires so you can have a little better traction... When I throw the stockers on for fun the 235s in the rear makes it feel like its on ice... You could always swap the 245 to the front and run a 255 or 265 for the rear... Would be much better traction wise anyway...
Congrats on the new Z!!
