It's going to be VERY hard now to take your lugs off. Locktite is usually used for things that will never get removed.

i think i'll be alright, i just have the medium strength. It says on the package
service removable, and on the back says common application is mounting bolts.

The threadlock is going to be a pita to break, you're just going to have to use a ton of leverage to get it off. For future reference, it's not needed at all for the spacers.

Loctite Blue or Red is breakable, just when you end up deciding on changing out the wheels later, you'll have to clean the threads on the studs pretty well.

if you put the lugs on and use a TORQUE wrench and properly set for the correct force, you should not worry about them coming off.

i actually use anti-seize on the studs to make sure i CAN take off my lugs later (in case it rusts)

+1

I torqued mine to 90 lbs. Just for gits and shiggles, after about 1k miles, I took off my wheels to see if my spacers needed to be retorqued. Every lug nut was still tight and didn't need it.

Sorry, I can't see any difference either, though I'm sure there must be. Why did you do that? I'm just curious...

Without before and after pictures it's kind of hard to tell. However, there is a large difference.

Ya a huge difference I want to get spacers freakin bad, lol...basically for those of you who can't tell the difference, normally the z's wheel is well under the quarter panel, lol...now it's pushed pretty much even, he could of gone out a lil farther in the rear actually. Still looks good and gives the car a much nicer stance when looking at it.

You must need glasses if you can't tell the difference with the spacers and without spacers. I have track wheels and can't wait to get some spacers, just worried because of mixed reviews. Now that I have coilovers, the gap is more noticable.

What mixed reviews? I haven't seen any people post negative reactions after installing spacers. It's either "I can't tell the difference" or "Wow that looks so much better, the car should come like that from the factory" .

The symptoms he was describing in that thread are synonomous with using spacers that aren't hubcentric, or using spacers with aftermarket wheels and not seating the hubcentric rings for the wheels properly.

As long as you purchase the right spacers you'll do fine.
