Default Need Opinion on some Wheels

This is my 07 ZR:

I've been wanting to get some new wheels for awhile, and I think I may have finally found some that I like.

Sorry, you have to click the link to see them, they are on a flash player.

I was thinking about the Royal Black (Black with chrome outside)

What do you think? I know its what I think that counts, but I want to hear some different people's opinions.

Thanks!

Those rims you chose, i feel like those would look like 17's if you get the polished lip on the outside. It makes the rim look smaller than it really is. What is your budget? Maybe you can get some nicer wheels.

+1

There are a lot of better options you could go with.

Well, the whole reason I looked into the wheels was the last 2 pics in this thread:

https://my350z.com/forum/media-share/316742-gobble-gobble-golden-gate-bridge-shoot-2-a.html

Though I guess I could see how the chrome lip could blend in with the silver car. In that thread, the Z was black, so it really stood out.

I really like the simplicity of the wheels. I really dont need to have 50 spokes lol. I was trying to decide a color that would stand out on the Alloy Silver but still look good and black was the only one I could really see looking nice. It'll match the interior and the top too, so thats good. Im just afraid that a solid black wheel might be too much, thats why I looked at the one with the chrome lip.

As far as budget, I really dont know. I didnt want to spend a ton on wheels, maybe 1-1.5k for a set but if I see some that really catch my eye I may spend more.

Do you have any ideas of other wheels that may look nice with the silver?

Thanks.

Well here are the exact same rims on silver. As you an see, they look tiny. I would rather keep the stock rims then get those. For the roadsters, i like seeing 19's on them. Looks a lot better.

I definitely see what you mean, they look way too small. I've also considered gold, it would have to be the right wheel though. Im just afraid that the gold may clash with the top when I have it up.

Why don't you just get the hyperblack? Im definitely going the unpolished lip route when I get my rims. I have a silver Z too.
