A little tease...Got my tires finally mounted up. Will post pics once my alignment is done.. to much camber in the rear and toe is missed up..Need my 0 camber out back... Feels so good to be back..
ok so I've got one question for you guys. if I want to work on a wheel that has a tire mounted on it and I just want to work on the faces to remove them off the wheel and not dismount the tires at all, is that possible to do by just removing all the air from it? and if so is there a possibility that the seal in the barrel might get loose at all? any feedback would be appreciated. thanks.
If you let all of the air out of the tire, there is a possibility that you will loosen the bead. But, it's not very likely. If you're going that route, it isn't really neccessary to let the air out at all. It doesn't really seem safe to keep the tire on there as you're disassembling a wheel, but logistically, it should cause you know issue.
When taking apart wheels it is always recommended to demount the tires first. Once the face/center is removed the barrel will lose a lot of its structural integrity and can deform form the tire still being mounted, no tire is perfectly found and put an enormous amount of force on the barrel in the bead area. Another step you should take is to mark each center as to which barrel it came from and be sure to pair them back up when you reassemble them. Multi-piece wheels don't get just get bolted together and shipped out at the factory, once they are assembled they go through a "truing process" that rounds them out to min requirements. So buy taking them apart and mixing them up you can disrupt their roundness and can end up with wheels that will require more weight to balance and may not even roll true again with out being straightened/refinished.

well I just want to remove the faces and rework them then place them back onto the wheel but I really don't want to disassemble the whole wheel that's why I just want to see if its ok to remove all the air without disturbing the seal..??

I may be missing a few, but that covers most of them.
Lexo350Z: once the air is let out, it takes like 2 seconds to dismount the tire. Again, I wouldn't ADVISE you to remove the face of the wheel and keep the tire mounted, but logistically, it is possible to do.

Yokohama SDrive have the size you specified. 255/35/19 just went on the rears and it stretched pretty good and easy. I imagine a 30 maybe a little tougher but all in all I like the SDrives, hope they last as long as the Falken FK452s did - those were great but discontinued.
I have 19x11 +15 all around 255/35 tires all the way around. The back sits perfect . However the front does not , it sits with no clearance so could I run more of stretched tire? Say 235/35 in front? Or would you recommend UCA? Or other options. Thanks.
Bunper is being changed so don't mind that lol

What in the actual fkuc am I looking at here?!?! It looks like a stretched tire, but stretched to an inside bead rather than the lip 0.o As if the sidewall is caved in or something.
I take it the rear wheels(that sit perfect) are not on in this picture?
I have 18x10.5+15 with 275/35 on all 4 corners and while it's an inch smaller diameter, and .5 inch narrower, you shouldn't have THAT bad of fitment. If you are on coilovers, raise your car an inch to get the clearance.
here is a picture of my fitment lowered on Tanabe GF210s (until this weekend hopefully)
You've got a couple different ways to alleviate that. You could run about -2 camber up front. BOOM.
You could get a bit more stretch to your tire. BOOM
