with those tire sizes, i really would not define that as "pushing the limits", as those are still quite conservative sizes compared to the folks on the otherside of the water (Japan)

I've got that stretch for my FRONTS (19x10.5 | 245/35):

weve got almost the same set up too.
ive got 15mms for the front soon.

i read this whole thread and this is the best quote. Anyone in there late 20s will know that this has been around for many years starting with the "honda" sceen. squeezing 19s on a civic/teggy with 30-35 series tires. super flush. then with all 240/AE86s they took it to a whole nother level. I just remember when i first got my g35 in 04 all the G/Z guys where older guys who laughed at the concept of 19/20s on a car this expensive. With the prices lower and more and more "younger" (not in a bad way) kids are getting the cars you are seeing more "trendy" ways to mod the cars. Either way the VIP sytle is imo the best look for show and if your not into track. most of us (cali) sit on the freeway most of our travel time and you can have a super slammed car with ultra low offsets and be ok with it. Our mid west and eastern buddies that have crappy weather and poor road conditions are usually the guys saying it looks stupid.

but one rule that never gets old is big drop and less rubber. i dont care what make you fix up if you have the right combo with offset, drop, color and less rubber you can make any car look good. now we are on the verge of VIP where this is the "look" to have and if you dont have it at a show or meet your car is too high. I'm ok with that, because it looks good. if have the money to drop $2k on a oil cooler for a stock car then tires and bearings are nothing.

sorry to rant but threads like this make me want to voice my opinion. i am old school. i come from the civics/teggy generations of the mid 90s.

AND BUMP! keep this thread going one of my favorite threads on this board.

Man, i need to see a proper photo shoot or your car asap. Not these damn camera phone bulls.hits. Haha. I love the look you have with the shaved emblems and such. You just need cleared out headlights and polished door handles. (powdercoat them polish look ftw!).

Am I the only person who thinks the rims sticking outside of the body of the car looks ridiculous? If its a widebody it looks great when the rims fit... but stock body with widebody rims? I just don't get it.
