Wow! Your setup looks pretty aggressive for being in the positive offsets.

Working my a$$ off trying to get my business going as a personal trainer and thats about it. I see you have def taken it to the next level and you found the extra pull needed to go wider and lower offsets in the rear Still have plans for the new z just waiting to hear back from Work if they are going to release new offsets if not im going with DPE's.

We went for a test ride and it road like normal,, I will let you know how it goes over the week..

And here is another pic of fitment
That sounds like a really really bad idea. Im pretty sure those spring rates are VERY wrong for that application. Stance uses 11k progressive rear spring rates for their OEM type setup and 5k springs for their "true coilover" setup.

I can't tell from the pic, but whats holding the top and bottom in place? That bottom collar certainly isnt designed to hold a spring above it... If that coilover wasnt designed to be a true type, then you better be careful. Get the shorter rear springs and do it right.

I havent verified the above info, im just thinking out loud here...

^^ Okay to clear some things up,, When you slam a car you want the highest spring rate Possible,, for the Z the best spring rate would be 14k/12k, so with that said the higher spring rate is a good thing.

Also you are talking about the helper collars, allot of people remove these with no problem, also the spring does not just hang there it is compressed up against the top of the strut.

My Stance Coilovers are setup just like this,, Thanks for your concern and I will let you know how it goes..

I've always thought that if you have a gap inbetween the top of the spring to the body that means = no preload on the coilover = bad? I had my old car setup like that lowered it all the way with no preload and it drove like crap. Jsia's car is running BC's with the lower spring setup and it's quite low. Not as low as that though.

Edit: Here's a pic of the setup of Jsia's car with BC Coilovers and rear lower spring setup. The collars aren't even removed yet and it still has more room to go lower. Name: 24399_386164338205_676023205_525128.jpg
