20x11 +4 should be close to flush...given ur giving it a decent drop..

 

I was running a 255 tire on my 18x11 -5 on my old 240.. it's the perfect stretch/poke setup.

well i know they fit already because they been on my car for while now but i want to push my limits a little more so that theres more stretch and poke (really just want to hang with the dallas crew) . the vs-xx came with tires when i bought them so i just used them until they worn out. currently they are (f)20x9.5 +8 245/30 (r)20x11 +4 285/30. now that i have a flat in the front here's my chance to make a more aggressive setup. i want to add some spacers and make them (f)-2 225/30 (r)-1 255/30. any advice on changing this setup to make it better please post away. rear fenders are cut, sand down, and seam seal so im not worried about the rear but the front might need some work? also planning on dropping the car more for a clean flush look. first five are old and were posted in here before but i posted them so everyone can see what i am working with.

clean set up, yea your defiantly going to have to run more narrow tires..it looks like your scrubbing off some of your sidewall there too. how much camber are you running?

 

dump t a bit more and run the 225's and 255's...you are definately on the right track with your next tire selection

+22 is average... lots of people know that. they just don't care for a stretched/aggressive look.

 

+22 is pretty weak...if you HAVE to get wheels over the counter +15/12 is the way to go

 

you z makes me want 20s...it fits so good, if you going 255 in the rear u should be fine with a 10mm spacer front and back

 

Your suggestion is correct if you want to be like everyone else and run a 275-sized tire or MAYbe venture to a 285. For those that like big tires that fit properly and make the car handle exceptionally, slightly more offset is necessary. Function >> form, and still classy.

What I'm talking about is a 305/30/19 rear on a nicely-dished 19x10.5 +28 combined with a 275/30/19 on a 19x9 +30. Oversteer-what? You go ahead with your 225 and 255s on 9.5 and 11. That'll fit just swell.

 

305 on a 10.5 is over kill. too wide for the rim, itll look like your girlfriends love handles folding over her panties.

nobody here gives a flying boeing 747 **** about how much rubber you want in your rear.

 

This shows you know absolutely nothing about properly-sized tires for wheels, which makes sense given that you'd put 225s on a 12" wheel before you put 305s on a 10.5". However, if you take opinion out of the game and simply look at the tire manufacturers recommended combinations, you'd see that 305 falls snugly in the wheel size spread:

You must be right and all these tire manufacturers wrong. What do they know? You want a look, albeit a stupid one, while compromising safety and handling. I want to maximize the platform that Nissan gave me with added functionality, grip, and safety.

Are you seriously in the STRETCHED TIRE thread preaching about proper sized tires? If you loath this life style so much why do u bother even clicking the thread? The fact that u went as far as posting and labeling multiple links is pathetic, my google works fine.
I dont think i claimed a stretched tire performed better or was safer than properly proportioned tires...i said it look stupid when your tire bulges out past the rim.
