Aggressive Wheels and Stretched Tires....Welcome
hi guys,
i've got some 18x10 and 18x12 3pc work meisters.
the rear ones have 265 35 18s on them but the front ones currently have no tyres fitted on,
i'm running on stock 18" wheels at the moment.
I want to put those work meisters on but can anyone give me some technical advice of what needs to be done to be able to run it,
I know i need front camber arms, any recommended brands? but what sizes wheels should i use for the fronts? and what else do i need to do to be able to run on them.
My 350z is a track version with brembo brakes (needs 10mm spacers to clear brembos for 18x10)
p/s i have tried fitting them on and the fronts are sticking out fender/guard by 1.5-2cms roughly and the rears by 2-2.5cms roughl
also i have got tein adjustables running on them and its lowered.
All of your inputs are greatly appreciated!

problem is with getting those wheels tucked in, cause its illegal to have wheels sitting out like that.....
Ronetia,, all I can tell you is do your research bro.. Find out what it takes to be slammed and static. And what your suspension actual does when you lower it.. Thats all I have..
My cars pretty low already at the moment and i have to go side ways everywhere i go, to the supermarket to pass the ramp (scratches my exhaust), to the airport where there are more ramps, on a hill, getting into a drive way .... lol

I was at a charity car show this summer and the VIU parked about 2 blocks away as people were leaving the show. They pulled cars in, inspected, ticketed and canceled insurance for "unsafe" modifications. Basically if they deem your car "unsafe" they cancel your insurance, tow your car and you can not drive your car on the road until you pass their inspection again.
They're concentrating on mods like "straight through mufflers", aftermarket tail lights and headlights, window tint, suspension modifications, stuff like that.
Now the police force has gone on the news saying that these inspections are completely random, and that they are not targeting modified vehicles, however they are "randomly" setting up these inspections near car shows or on nights and at locations where there is a high concentration of modified vehicles.
There are laws written for modifications, but some of them are vague and the officers are using their own blown out of proportion interpretations of them to enforce. Many of their tickets would not hold up in court, but people would rather "fix" their cars and drive them than leave them parked in the garage for months until they get their day in court.
One good example of a misinterpreted law is a test used to test shock absorbers. The test is outlined in the Highway Traffic Act and essentially says that the officer may push on your fender and the shock absorber must stop the car from bouncing in three oscillations or less. If the car continues to bounce, the shock is blown obviously....... However, the officers on the street are using this test to test aftermarket suspension and pulling cars off the road because they do not bounce at all (suspension too stiff)... Completely wrong application for that test.
I could go on for hours on this topic... It's quite ridiculous how our police force is blatantly lying to us and grossly misinterpreting written regulations.
it's illegal in Japan too. you wont pass JCI inspection if your wheels stick out past the fenders. But it sounds much worse in New Zealand. For the most part Japanese cops were pretty chill about the whole thing, you just had to make sure your car was proper when it came time for the bi-annual inspection.

technically it is illegal in my area too (maryland), just depends on if you catch a cop thats out for blood
stretched tires came about because of laws (cant remember the country) saying the tire could not stick out past the fender, so they just slapped a skinnier tire on
