I have been searching around looking at different suspensions. I am trying to decide what is the best suspension setup that gets me nice and low. I keep seeing 1.5" drop, ect.

Which suspensions would you guys recommend that will drop the car to the low look we all like?

It is important to mention that I am about to do an engine build to around 600-700rwhp. A Cheap setup is not what I am going for. I need something that will hold the power to the road.

I would go on a different forum but I am not into the fat tire look, I want the hella flush however, I am not going to run a serious negative camber setup in order to maximize tire patch on the road.

I want to listen to the experts that know which suspension setups give them the look we all on this thread are going for.

Stance coilovers - picked up a set 3 months ago and im in love. You can literally put your cross beam on the floor if you wanted to.

You can't go wrong with stance. For you. I'd prolly go one of the higher end ones like the Stance Gr+ Pro SSD. I love my set. There's not enough room in the world to bottom out the shocks.

And I personally think they handle the ****.

with that much power your not gonna want a stretch. even a 305 at that power is gonna lose traction. mind youd be going some pretty nifty speeds at that power, last thing youd want is a stretched tire to asplode

+1 i had stance coils on my track car and they got stupid low. i also have bc racing on my ls1 350z and they go incredibly low as well. as for ride, i prefer BC > stance

Default question???

If I go with 18x10.5 all four with +-0 front and -5 offset rear will that look weird? I was thinking of running 245/40 tires on all four. Any advice or opinions? Thanks

^ May or may not look "weird" depending on camber, ride height, how much fender pull, etc

Lol I'm running almost the exact setup as you. Except, I'm running +15 up front right now. The 10.5 +15 already pokes, depending on how much camber you're running. I could maybe put a 10, but I'd have to run more camber. The rears sit perfect though.

coils maxed out out back, but im planning on going with true coilovers soon so i can run -1.5 (ish) camber in the rear for drifting purposes.

^remove all collars on the rear should get you at least 1/2" lower. definitely don't need any more poke. poke looks amateur.

Is removing all collars safe? I thought you only remove the bottom collar that sits on the spring bucket... that lowers it about a 1/2 inch for me lol.

I'm trying to get my rpf1's in the rear to sit as close to 0 camber as I can for drifting.. right now it's at -3.8 haha. Pulling fenders then getting realigned.

if youre on stance coilovers and have oem set up, you can remove the rubber spring mount.

Very nice Z theianmcdougall! It may be just my opinion but i believe nismo 3 sideskirts + TS rear diffuser would look totally sick.
