has anyone ever seen reverse lipped meisters? is it possible? I see people switching from step lip to reverse lip and visa versa on other work wheels like equips, rezaxs, vs-xx, etc. just wondering...

I think somebody did it like 10 pages back. I don't see a problem, you're not really risking the integrity of the wheel. Should be fine. I was thinking of reversing my vsxx. They would need to a new lip and major polish though..

i don't mean like flipping the lip, i mean using a reverse lip, instead of a step lip. Like work meisters with a flat lip?? u know what im saying????

FUU that's my idea!!! Thought I was the only one to have that in mind

Now to answer you... I think it's possible to do it. 19's meister with flat reverse lips would end up being 18's tho. The face is actually an inch smaller due to the step lip.

ya those don't look that great.. I talked to the guys at wheel flip and they said they've mocked it up but it never really looked that good. I think i'm just goin to send my wheels to them and refinish them to look like this.... I'll rock em for a while then use them as trade bait.

. These equips used to come in a rolled lip back in the day, the Miester before the miester.

Oh, and the wheels on the Porsche aren't miester, miester never came with "hidden" hardware and also miester face mounts in between the lip and barrel, not on top.

Question, any tips for getting the fronts not to rub? My offset isn't as aggressive as most, but I figured I would ask you all. I'm at a +12 and only time I rub is if I'm turning to go up or down an incline. I've pulled my fenders some which has helped. Just trying to see if there are any other ideas.

tires are too wide. thats what is rubbing. you need to stretch some tires on there for clearance. what are the specs?

Meisters are distinctive because of that tapered then pronounced step-lip. Take that away and it looks like any o'l five spoke...do not want.
