I am looking for some stock 17's for track use anyway. Going to run a set of RE-01R's until I get suspension then R comps.
As long as I can stay B-stock (my clutch is stock what are you talking about ) I will, we have the national champ for BSP in my region

This website has the cheapest prices and includes free shipping. They just don't have the size I wanted

As for impression I have only been able to drive these in the rain(3 inches of rain in 2 days) and they have done amazing in wet conditions. I have driven on KDW2 and PS2, I must say that they handle a whole lot better then the KDW's in the rain and equal to if not better then the PS2's.
Once dry out I will take them out for some more testing to see how the fair but so far I am very impressed by the performance.

I have heard nothing but good things about these tires.
A few questions for owners:
1) Do they run wide or narrow?
2) For those running 255's and bigger up front, do they grab the imperfections and ruts in the highway and pull you around in your lane or do they track straight over it?
3) How noisey are they?
4) How comfortable are they vs. other tires, softer ride?

1. I think a little wide. I got a 275/35/19 on a 19x11 inch wheel and it's barely stretched. I've seen other tires of the same dimensions that are a lot more stretched than mine.
2. I have 245's up front
3. They're very quiet!! At least compared to my old Nitto NT555's and Dunlop Direzza's they are.
4. My tires are only about a month old, and usually any new tires are pretty comfortable, so I can't comment here. But so far, so good.

They make great street tires other than a bit of excess noise compared with most of the tires it competes with.
For me I won't beat it for street driving/cost ratio, but I have track wheels because of how bad these are for competitive driving.

I am in need of replacement rear tires and wanted to ask you folks your thoughts. My current setup is 255x40x18 up front and 285x35x19 in the rear with KDW2s. I only see a 295x35x19 and these will fit my nismo wheels as they are 19x10s but will I have a problem with my Traction control or ABS due to size % difference it will be off from the front? I do not have VDC on the NISMO. Any advice would be great as I want to get these tires.

To what I can tell from Miata.net calc, is 295x30x19 is closer to my stock 265x35x19 was than my current 285x35x19. And since my fronts are 255x40x19 and getting the 295x30x19 I would only be .02% off thats it compared to now where it is more off. Does this sound right?
Where is the cheapest place to get these now?

alright so after about a year of driving in the sessanta's i have one complaint, and it's kind of a big one... they don't drive straight. i got an alignment done with the great guys at precision Z and after checking out my whole suspension they told me the reason i'm drifting to the right has to be the tires because nothing is wrong with my wheels or suspension. LAME. i guess i got a factory fluke other than that though i still love them

calin can you post some pictures of your 275 on a 11" wheel?
I have heard the opposite that the Vreds tend to run narrow. I'd like to run 275 on a 10.5 out back but only if it's not really stretched at all. If they look good on your 11, I think they will be my go to tire for this first set on my new wheels.
edit: Also where are people ordering their Vreds from? performancetireplus seems to still carry them but charge an asston for shipping, tire-easy.com I've not really heard of has them too but I don't know how reputable it is. Any other vendors?

^thanks for the PM calin, I've been swamped and probably wouldn't have remembered to check the thread. Setup looks good, the tires are relatively stretched though, I may just run a 285 for now. If they ever get around to making a 285/35, I'd definitely buy it.
