Ray's vs Rock. Rock wins
Well part of driving is the risk of damage. On the Palomar run this morning, it was my turn. I hit a rock and damaged one of my Rays. I would think this is repairable. Anyone know of a good rim repair shop in San Diego?

holy crap, your lookin at about 500$ I think to repair, if forged rims can be repaired... better hope so cause their super expensive to buy new.
I brought my performance rims in, they quoted 100 to repair a bent inner lip(thats your outer, and I think it seems like a more comlicated bend than mine) and 2-300$ to repair a TINY I mean no longer than 3/4inch scratch on the outer lip. you have 2 scraped areas, both twice the size of mine.
good luck, and let us know how it goes.

I am sorry to say it but I think you should call the insurance company and get a new one. Repair would be very difficult for a forged rim with that much damage.
Sorry to see that Alang.

if you decide to repair those Rays..be sure to find a reputable place. my last set of rims (Anteras) were bend and i took it to a shop to repair. They were able to cosmetically repair the damage. But the rims+tire just couldn't be balanced properly. They must have repair it with some else other then aluminum alloy?

I thought the rims rang in at like 1200$, not positive, but if they do, most have a 1000$ deductable, meaning involving insurance would just be worthless. this would have to be one of the downsides to purchasing the track model, cant replace the rims for any reasonable price.

Just like I posted in the other thread, try TRU WHEEL.
They repair hard to repair wheels, 3 piecie, anything....
Their website: www.truwheel.com
If you're too lazy to go there, you can just ship it and they'll ship it back to you.

I second that Truwheel company.
I had an accident about 2 years ago, and I bented 2 of my BBS RC (those are 20lbs a piece for 18"), and NO ONE would touch those wheel.
Someone recommanded Truwheel, I brought it over. They checked the center hub to make sure there were no damage, and fix it, it was as good, actually better then new since they machine polished the face of the wheel.
the BBS RC is probably the most advance cast wheel on the marketing, straight up putting a challenge in the face of forge rim, it is still a cast wheel. But pretty much if Truwheel can't touch it, I think no one can.
