Default suggestions: 18x10.5 + with low offsets (+12 or so)

Hey guys,

I've been reading for days and its hard to find specific wheels to look at. seems like 1 hot pic you look at has another of the same wheel looking like crap. (ie advan RS look super dope on that red Z, while on other cars they dont look concave at all????)

I'm interested in a 18x9.5 front and a 18x10 - 18x12 rear wheel. low offsets, like +15 or +12. concave or lip is fine. I'm running 350z Stechs with rolled rear fender so I wanna get that flush look.

If you have suggestions or can name a few wheels, that would be sweet.

Happy holidays!

Here are pics of my ADVAN RS wheels. 19X9 +22, and 19X10 + 25 with 275/30front, and 295/30 rear. These are very concave. 19 X12?

Thanks Jet for your pics.

Those white TE37's are also exactly what I am looking for (seen those pics in the searches before). I guess threads like this just bring out the usual suspects What was the wait on those TS37's??

I'd have to go with the +15 on the Advans to get the concavity I like. Those are my favorites, since I havent seen and RG2 pics in the low offsets. I;ve only seen them in the low offsets on this red Z though. Wish there were other photos of them.

Seems like the wheels with aggressive offsets are all in the ~2500$ price range (prolly much more for those VOlks though ). The Volks are nice and really command that dealer markup and LONG wait for those aggro offsets

The offset will not change the depth of the face. The change in offset will only increase or decrease the mounting pad thickness. If your car is lowered and you use the correct tire sizes the offsets your looking at will not fit. My tires rub with these offsets. The wheel face in the picture you posted is the exact wheel face my wheel has.

ya thats the problem then. the rears on that red car looks waay more concave then yours. I thought the offset moved the face of the wheel. less offset meant more space between the lip and the mounting bolts. But you say that Advan keeps the face in the same spot and just builds up material (10mm in the instance) behind the face?

FWIW, the red Z only had to roll his rear fenders to fit those 10.5 +15 front and back.
Interesting.

yep I was right i need to step down to a 295 next time because the outer edge of my 10.5 wheels stick out 4mm more than your wheels and with the 305's on my wheels now, the fit is too tight and that's with minor fender tweaking and excessive negative camber.

I need to get rid of my excess camber someday and the only way is to grind the **** out of my lip, or run 295's.

Interesting.
but with what tire (size/brand) - that is the great equalizer

and those are 10 inch +15 BTW...Advan does not make them in 10.5

Sorry pics aren't so good. The first one is before I dropped the car. Im on Eibach sportlines with the rear seats trimmed .75" . The camber issue has also been corrected.

Interesting.
Rim diameter can also play a roll in how concave the wheel is. For example, I know that 19x10.5 +15 TE37's aren't concave as 18x10.5 +15
