I took off my Volk SF challenges in RMC and put my stock rims on for the winter months. I figured I would replace the rear tires on the challenges while they're off (Toyos from Adam@z1).
One problem, i like the look of the silver rims on a silver car. For some reason the car just looks more serious with silver, which i like. I've grown a little bored of the rays metallic coating i guess.
My question is... is it worth getting my RMC rims painted silver (keeping chrome lip) Or should i just hunt down some new ones and sell these? Has anyone painted theres?
I can't decide!
Here are most recent pics before taking them off...

Thanks in advance,
-Peter

Please think of the children and lose those awful, miserable, horrible, ludicrous Altezza rear lamps.
As for the wheels, they look nice already, why would you want to change them?

Looks great as is, but If you want silver and are sick of the Rmc well then change it up? I personally would sell them and find a silver set rather then painting a very prominent finish. All IMO ofcourse.

+1 totally agree! The silver would blend into the car a bit too much. I would leave it like it is!
I love the RMC finish. Had a set of Volk GT-V's in that color. If you do go for the change, it would prob be cheaper to just get another set in silver, and sell these. No worries about how the finish will turnout, as it will be coming straight from the factory.

Thanks guys... I def won't be painting them since it seems like a hassle. I think that since i posted really nice pics of my car you're all thrown off as to how it really looks. On a daily basis having the chrome starts to feel "cheapish" looking to me. The search begins for a new set of rims, although im not 100% sure still.
Those pics look sweet. Can you post the 1st photo before it was photoshopped. I just had a huge argument w/ my gf over it and want to see what it looked like b4 the photoshopping.
If you know what set you want maybe you cant post and see if anyone is willing to trade which could be an option. IMO those wheels look really good on your car, they look real clean.
