Default 19x9.5 or 19.10.5 rear?

Im about to purchase a set of rims and was curious about the pros and cons or what might be better or worse about having a 10.5 over a 9.5 besides the obvious... like looks and the bigger lip on the rim.

Thanks in advance,
Cory

What tire size are you planning on getting? If you are going to use the usual 275 then it is mostly up to you on how you want it to look. 275 on 10.5 rim might look a bit stretched.

tire size would be 295/30...

one more question has anyone heard of vredestein tires? are these reputable tires really? are they good tires more or less?

for 295 go with the 10.5.

Do a search on the tires you are considering. Some one just got a set here and I heard they are petty good tires.

it's heavier
it will hold wider tire
sometimes more concave
will stick out of the body more
it's jusy bad azz than 9.5 for sure.
you can brag about your wheel width that is 2 digits.

295 should be on a 10.5" wheel.

make sure you get an offset close to +30 or above for the rear rims...

no he means above, because without rolling fenders you will rub with sub +30 offset, 10.5" wheel and a 295/30 tire.

YOu may want to look into that 9.5 for the front. Then you can run a nice wide front tire to match your wide rear. 275/30's fit great in the front.
