Anyone have any opinions about either
265/35/18 - 275/35/18 Hankook RS3
Or
255/35/18 - 275/35/18
I'd like 40 sidewall but if I remember correctly the RS3s don't come with 40 sidewalls?
Anyone have experience with these tires?
These are gonna be on 18x9.5/10.5 +15 RPF1s

The common setup last year was 265 front and 285 rear. If the 275 becomes available i will run the 275 front and 285 rear.

Would 255-275 be fine setup for 9.5/10.5?
I street drive the car 90% of the time.

90% street driving i would do the 265/285 combo, those tires run pretty wide and will not really be stretched much on the wheels.

I have a friend with 9.5 all around and has 255 RS3, he told me this info so I want to see whether it's true or false.

Never heard that, and stretch will not help them heat up faster.

Oh ok so 265/285 won't cause any problems? I plan to track on these wheel/tire this summer so I don't want
To run into any problems.
Also ordering Monday so I wanna make sure I have everything correct before doing so.

enkei nto3+m 18x10.5 +30 with 285/35/18 hankook RS3's all the way around 
fronts currently have 5/16" spacers on them in order to clear front suspension. Plan is to go to +20 front +15 rear with spacers. Already in hand just need to put em on.

just got them mounted and on last week. Drove home from the shop at 160, 135 through a 3 lane S turn and they felt very stable much better then my previous TR1's 
alignment and corner balance on the 16th. then I can really push them. I may do an AutoX or 2 before then since my alignment doesnt seem to be too bad out.
Once I get alignment and corner balance and can really push them i will try to remember to come back on here and give a review
On our weight Cars RS3's usually see fastest times in 80+ degree weather they dont perform as well in the cool. The star specs are better when cooler but a little bit slower in warm weather and tend to get "greasy" faster.
RS-3's are supposed to have pretty soft sidewalls but I haven't driven enough to see if I will even notice this. I got the biggest size they offered (285) but its on a 10.5" rim so there is no bulge as you can see. so the soft side shouldn't really effect me.

Oh okay. Ya I was about to ask about the soft sidewall issue too. I'm stuck between 265/285 or 265/275 on a 9.5/10.5 but can't decide nor get a clear answer on which would better setup.
