I got my RPF1's 18x9.5 f 18.10.5 r +15 all around. Imo it looks perfect. When I was shopping for them, I had the same issue with discount tire. Went to gruppe-s, they hooked it up.

Why not get the Enkei RPF1 or NT03+M? Both lighter and more size options than the RP03. RP03 def looks better for the street, though.

^^ on that note, would the RPF1's in a +15 offset all around 18", 9.5 & 10.5 be a good fitment on a Z only lowered ~1" on springs?

I look all the wheels ,but I like the RPO3 the most. I am not a fanatic of too many spokes.

Default enkei GTC 01 wheels, need help on tires

I plan on getting a set of enkei GTC 01 wheels in 18x9 front and 18x10 rear. I am currently running 18x9 fronts with a 265/35/18 khumo mx tire and 18x10.5 rears with a 295/35/18 khumo mx tire. I am not happy with the tires. Under perfect driving conditions >70 degrees and dry, the tires are fine, but introduce any moisture or lower temps and they suck.

I am looking for some decent traction. My car is very HP biased right now. With the new wheels I know I can still run the same sizes, but I think, I might move to a 275 or 285 tire. I am thinking the contact patch would be roughly the same and thus not hurt traction much at all.

Looking for suggestions on tires and sizes to for my new wheel setup.

contact patch can be vastly different - all depends on the specific tire of course. On some, like the RE050A (what I run, love em) and PS2 (our other Z has those...also awesome) its a substantial difference

the best you can hope for out of a set of summer only tires is ones that work down the 50's - below that, anything with any sort of grip to it will just give up, there is no way around it.
