Pass on those wheels, offsets are too weak. They are more than likely made for a fwd vehicle. Also the rims aren't even that wide, for the rear I'm fitting a 18x10.5 +15 et with a 275 and it fits just fine. If you get those the gap will be humongous without a massive spacer. No need to roll your fenders because they won't be anywhere near the fenders. Go with at least 9.5" inch rim all around with a 0 to +22 offset if you don't want to be that aggressive but you don't want a fender gap.

 

18x9.5 +15 clears Wilwood brakes just fine, its also the wheel you should be running up front.

 

I know 18x8 +30 (OEM 06-08 wheels) fit stoptech BBKs.

 

Who ever told you to buy those wheels with those specs should be blacklisted. Walk away, let them know they are clueless and never go back.

 

I love the aggressive look, but ugh, understanding rims is a giant pain in the ***. i thought 40s were too big, would hit the fender. Now you say that they are too small, wont hit? I can use the online wheel/tire calculators, but i dont understand what they mean. I need one that says 'you've gone too far, need to roll fender'. My current tires are 225/245, 18". What rim size is ideal for these?

for Zs you want no more then 25 offset IMO.

 

So the more positive the offset, the more the center face of the rim is closer to the outside of the car. The more negative the offset, the more the center face of the rim is closer to the inside of the car.

will a 9.5 inch rim fit my 225/245 setup? I see alot of 10 width on the rear in this forum, would that still fit 245?

 

theres people doing 285 on 9.5 so a 225 will be stretched.

 

say, whats the wtty like on most of these rims? If im paying close to a grand, i should expect lifetime. Im checking out konig, and they only have a year. thats pretty crappy

I like the cleanliness of the below pics, but i dont like how i cant find a weight on them anywhere. In fact, sites that sell these, the data table will list everything but the weight, just as a N/A. One dudes post i found says they are 25lb, but who knows?

YOu will want to buy new tires to match your new wheels. The common setup in 18's is 245 or 255/40 front and 275/40 rear.

I think you are trying to say warrenty. Don't know what the warrenty is but they will cover defects. $1k for wheels is nothing, that is not even enough to get something quality.

I don't see +30 being a problem at all and no spacer would be needed.

I have no idea why you are making things so difficult for yourself, why not just match the correct offset like I and everyone else have told you on numerous occasions?

Just a question hopefully someone can answer for me, I was debating on gettin the nt03+m in 18x9.5 +27 front and 10.5 +30 rear what would be needed to run this on a 05 track? Spacers? Tire size? Car will be dropped on coilovers. Thanks.

Spacers if you feel the need, and depending on the look you want with the tire size you pic. Common tire combo's can include 245 or 255/40 front and 275/40 rear to 275/35 front and 295 or 305/35 rears.

 

Figured I'd go with a 245/40 front and 275/40 rear but I wasn't sure if the rims would fit with the brembos without the spacers. I would like to push it out a bit to make it sit flush but I don't really plan on going overboard. Thank you for the response.

I don't think spacers are needed to clear the Brembos, those wheels are very BBK friendly.

Checkout member Kal_el's old setup for a nice setup with Brembos.

 

They clear BBK's and Brembo's very well.

I run 275/40 rear with 255/40 front, then a 20mm rear spacer and 10mm front spacer. For a daily driver i suggest a 15mm rear spacer so you do not need to run -2.1 rear camber. With a 15mm spacer out back you will be able to drop down to -1.8 and get better tire wear. The front will require about -1.5 to clear with a 255. In this pic i have close to -3, i would much rather daily drive on -1.5, you will get much better life out of your front tires.

Came from an evo and back there we just needed to keep outr tires square and rim sizes offsets ect same. Being I have a track model would running 255/40 and 275/40 for the rear be fine? I know almost everyone else is running 245/40 275/40 always thought the 245 would stretch a bit on a 9.5 rim so I was gonna see if 255 would be ok

 

255/40 and 275/40 is a perfect match for any Z. There are so many combo's you can run and be fine.
