Stupid question but... what is Hubcentric? one of my friends here has a Z and he got some new rims and he doesnt need his spacers anymore and I was thinking about getting them.... I know he has had them on a while but.... some people have told me not to use wheel spacers because they can break causing the wheel to come flying off if you are launching your car hard.... anyone know of this happening?

Well you are talking about 2 different things here. First, hub centric means that the wheel centers itself on the hub, not by the lug nuts. There is a cylindrical portion of the hub that sticks out, and it makes a close tolerance fit into the bore that is in the center of the wheel. This makes the wheel concentric to the hub. The lug nuts are just there to clamp the two pieces together.

Regarding wheel spacers breaking, if anything I think it would be the studs breaking, and not the spacer itself. And I'm not sure why they would break if they are rated as strong or stronger than the OEM studs.
