Default 225/40 R18 and 245/40 R18

I am an owner of an 35th anniversary Edition.
I would like to change oem tires on stock wheel with a set of toyo R888...
Does these size fit oem wheels properly ?

Thanks in advance,
max

They fit fine , if they offer a 255/40 i would suggest the 245's in the front and 255's for the rear.

I went with the same sizes that you are asking about. Then I changed the rear to a 265/35/18. I work at a Tire shop on the weekends. I will go a little wider on my fronts soon. You will be fine.

Woah, woah, woah. I hate to rain on your parade, but that is NOT a proper size to run. These wheels will give you an error of 3.4% on your speedometer. When your car displays 60, you're going 58. This isn't a within-spec tire choice.

Good to see another owner from Switzerland

Agree with the above post, your overall tire diameter will be smaller so your car will use more gas. On the upside, you will get better acceleration .
