it sucks when the search is down. thinkin about bronze te37's on my brickyard z makes my ***** hard, so i'm tryin to figure out sizin. i'm thinkin of 18's; cheaper on the ole wallet, but still a little bigger than my stock 17's. what width would u guys go with. 8.5 front, 9.5 back? thanks.
The offset has to do with how far the wheel extends from the hub.
for example- a 9.5" wide wheel with a +22 offset will be pushed out farther towards the edge of the fender than a 9.5" wheel with a +35 offset.
the stock 18" are 8" wide and +30 all around. With these sizes and offsets, when you look down the side of the car the wheels appear slightly "tucked" into the wheel wells.
In my case I have 8.5 f. +22 and 9.5 r +22. With these sizes and offsets, when you look down the side of the car, the wheels and body of the car are flush.
hope this helps a little, it can be confusing.
