well...i believe my silverstone touring will arrive any day now...ive been on this forum forever looking at wheels and other stuff...i know im not the first to say this but i think i wanna go with i-forged polish aeros...any feedback about these wheels and dealin with this company will be appreciated
plus--i didnt really notice, those of you that bought the aeros, did you buy they with or w/o bolts and rivets
oh-and the important question..how much did you all pay (is there another group buy coming along?)
and lastly
IMO it doesnt take that long to type in my opinion (ive wanted to say that for some time (especially when i didnt know wat IMO stood for)

from what i heard, if you order i-forge rims your prolly gonna have to wait a few months maybe longer to get them...if your in a rush, you should prolly look at somethin else...most of the people i seen w/ i-forge aeros don't have the bolts and rivets (2-peice)...
ralphus is right, there are a multitude of posts of shady experiences with iforged, mostly dealing with customer service, and a few dealing with quality. as well as a handful of not receiving what was ordered or expected.
2003Z is one of those that was happy, tho perhaps he can correct me, but I think he was only happy because of the "discount" he got. many iforged are similair to HRE which are about twice the cost. for the price, some are willing to wait a while, and put up with a certain amount of crap. as for simple forged rims which is what they are, iforged are similair or more expensive than rays which are of the upmost quality, and are a bit lighter even between same size rims both forged.
there are rumors that Iforged can be found on various forums over the past, but they are found under many names... changing of names is a shady business practice IMO.
proceed with caution, from what Ive read all in all, chances are you will order your rims, you will get told when they will deliver, add 2-3months to this date, regaurdless of what they say. after that wait you will recieve your rims, which SHOULD be in good condition tho there is a somewhat good chance you will find SOME problem with them, but the problem will likely be so minor only you will ever notice it.
thats about it. however most got theres on a groupbuy... arent there rims WAY more expensive if its not on groupbuy?
EDIT: want to say just to clarify, Ive seen 2003Z rims in person, and well, they look damn good, I saw no flaws in them(if there are any I didnt notice them atleast). so Ill give em that, they are capable of making nice rims. just a little gamble

wait...durobred just said that if they are 2 piece aeros then they dont have rivets...does that mean if they are 3 piece then they only come with rivets....that would mean that anyone with aeros without rivets would have no lip (cause 2 piece wheels dont have a lip)..but ive seen peoples aeros with lip and no rivets...
im confused

If you were to purchase the RS Aeros polished in the 2nd groupbuy, as I did, your total cost would have been $2070 plus shipping since there was only an extra charge for the brushed aluminum treatment.
I can't speak for the quality of the wheels yet as I have not received them but I am expecting them soon and will comment and post pictures as soon as they come in.
I can't comment on the negative experiences other members have had with iForged because, up to this point, I don't have anything major to complain about. They called me a couple of days after I faxed my order, they billled me for 50% up front as we had agreed, and they called me Friday to let me know my wheels will be shipping. I was originally planning to order some Volk GT-7's but I was getting a 2-3 month delivery at that time. My iForgeds this week are now on week 7 so if I get them this week or next week it will make it 2 months or less which is what I would have had to wait for the Volk's.
I am not here to defend iForged. I'm just stating my experience. I didn't go buy the iForged because they were cheaper than HRE's. I bought them because I like how they look and rodH, who has the look I want, spoke highly of the wheels and that was enough for me.
There is a member that is coming to the CT meet that also wants iForged wheels and wants to see what mine look like. If another groupbuy is started, you obviously will be purchasing at your own risk. All I can say is that thusfar my experience has been satisfactory and my final statement will come after I see the quality of the wheels I receive.
Good luck with whatever you choose.

thanks for that...at this point i realize its just basically what i like that i should buy
you arnt guaranteed a pleasant experience with any particular wheel manufacturer so im probobly going to go with the iforged
thing is i want to place an order asap...i dont understand why there has to be a group buy to get a good price
its these group buys that are delaying shipment and causing problems

You may want to call Vince at iForged and express your concerns and try to see if you can schmooze him to offer you the 2nd group buy price. Ultimately, you buy at your own risk but I read all the negative comments and they didn't detract me because these were the wheels I wanted and I was willing to wait. Volk makes beautiful wheels also and I was tempted to go for the GT-C or GT-7 but I opted for the smoother lines of the iForgeds.
Be careful of the Axis Seven Mod. because, although, they hype the Maxis lip which I believe is 4" wide it is not a mirror polished lip. It is a machined lip which is not as shiny as what the iForged or the HRE's or Volk GT-C's come with. The wheels they offer that have the mirror polished lips are $1500 EACH.

I would like to sell this set if anyone is interested in them. I only have it for like 2 weeks (dated 5/30 on the reciept discount tires), but thinking that i got it for 2550. (with tax, mouting, balance, and tires.) if anyone is interested email me at, i'm not sure about the biggest size for the rim but they told me that it's imported stright from japan so if u order these rims its gonna take around 2-3 month to get here that's y i got it contact me if anyone is interested in my rims i will be glad to exchange also by the way these rims comes with polished lip if anyone more pix plz email me..........altezzatypesh@aol.com

Let me know if you watn the TE37s, I can get them for you for a really good price. Oh yeah, I was at the shop and a G35 owner came by so we put the 19" TE37s next to his car so he can see how it looks and I have to tell you that both of us were surprised at how light the TE37s are, especially for 19" wheels. Anyways, the TE37s is a really good choice
