Default 305/25/20 tire on 350z??

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Beaut...em160201840897

heres the link to the auction. I am about to pull the trigger on some Volk GTS's and thought the widest I could go was 285 with the +18 offset. How can this guy fit a 305 on the rear and still have a good size lip? I realize these are OZ's and not Volks, but it seems that everyone stays with 285 or 275 for tire width in the rear. I like the lip size but ultimatle want a fatttt tire in the back.

Any suggestions or comments?

A 10.5" wheel should have a minimum of a 295 tire on it. I have a 295 tire on a 10" +25 wheel and with a rollld lip it does not rub.

Heres my 305 with a 3 3/4" lip. Granted it's a 305/30/19 not 20" wheels. I'm sure you could get a bigger lipped wheel than mine.

Are you talking about fitting 305 on 19" rim or 20" rim? Volk GTS's are not made in 20" last time i checked. So hopefully you are meaning 305 on on a 19" rim. Either way you should be able to fit it. I am lowered an inch with 295/30 R20 +22offset (92mm lip) and could probably even put a small spacer in.

Ahh...I am talking about 19 inch. I think my homework is complete. I have decided to go with the +17 +18 and a 285 in the rear. I just gotta have that big lip!! Thanks for all the replys and I'll post pics in 4 months.

What is the size of your front tires?

I'm thinking of changing my back tires to 295 30/19, but leaving the fronts as 245 40/19. The rear wheel is 10". Is this set up ok?

I assume you are refering to the blk 350z in the OP. That was an auction off eBay and I do not know the seller. I did paste a link to the auction and you might be able to contact the seller that way.

I am purchasing the 19" Volk GTS soon and wanted some last info on offsets and tire sizes.
