Default Spacers for Veilside V3

Hi guys my brother is getting the wide arch veilside V3 kit, he has Volk GT-S wheels, 19x10.5 rear and 19x9.5. Does anyone know what size spacers he will need so that the wheels dont look swallowed with the mahooosive arches cheers

Easy.

1. Find a ruler that measures in millimeters
2. Measure gap between tire and the fender, leaving a little clearance for suspension travel.
3. Buy spacer that is closest to the size you came up with.

FYI, if he is lower he might have to cut the old rear quarter panels so they don't hit the top of his tire!

Just make sure you get hub-centric ones.

Good luck on the project. I am planning to do the fender flares on mine in the two months. Keep me posted on the problems you run into. And some pics would be nice!

I'm with you, because I don't know either. All I know is it is a have to have! I'm going to try the search function on the form. I let you know when I find out!

Found it! Hub centric means that the wheel centers itself on the hub.

Make sure you do this even at stock height, you don't wanna end up like that other widebody guy that got owned for not cutting his quarter panels. Do it right or don't do it at all

Just one of the local guys with a veilside widebody. He didn't cut his QP's and just painted them black and ended up shredding his sidewalls, and his wheels weren't even close to flush, looked horrid.

You should REALLY REALLY REALLY always cut your stock fenders if you are getting wide fenders and wheels that actually fill those fenders.

it makes sense.

I also have a question, I am thinking of buying the fender flares sometime this month. I want 19's and I really like the staggered look with the big lip on the back, but I don't know what width and offset I would need? Or is this going to have to be a custom order?

easiest way would probably be to pull the rear springs, install the wheels you are going to run, and then keep grinding at the quarter panel until you hit the bumpstops

As far as wheel sizes, I am pretty sure we have the sizes from our demo car on the website.

But wheel fitment is an interesting thing.
it depends on ride height, wheel size, tire size, tire brand (some tires of the SAME size but DIFFERENT bands, are totally different), Camber, etc....
