Default tirerack + toyos = no more?

My front tires are in need of replacement due to a really badly worn inside, hoping it happened before lowering and doing an alignment. Anywho was looking to replace my tires with the same tire but tirerack doesnt seem to sell toyos anymore.

2 things.

Where's a good place to buy toyos online?

and

What other tires are you guys happy with running I might change it to a different brand.

Tirerack has never sold Toyos.

I bought my T 1Rs from Edge-racing. Good price; prompt shipping.

other tires; Michelin PS2s & Good Year GSD3s.

I find the T1R's sidewall too soft and it gets real bouncy at high speeds.

Grip is also only so so, but then again I am benchmaking them against the Yoko's advan sport which was my last tire. They were great, but not directional.

Why don't you consider the Yoko's AD07's? They're also directional.

How much did you lower your car by, and how many miles did you travel after lowering? How much thread was left before lowering?

I find the Toyos tend to give out when pushed hard, not sure if its sideway flex or something else, but I'm not a big fan however, over all they've been good tires.

I put maybe 10K miles on the car before lowering it, guessing around 1-2K on the tires after lowering. First thing I did after lowering the car was take it to a shop to get checked out, the rears were way out but the fronts were pretty close to stock specs when we were done.

I have since installed a rear camber kit and fixed the rears.

places sound pretty good deal wise for you guys state side. Unfortunately a no go for myself in Toronto re: shipping. I'm just going to buy locally but they appear to be good sites. Good luck.
