Default Need help on Offsets for Gram Lights 57F-Pros

Gents,

First of all, I have to commend you all for such a great forum you have here! This site has more info and help for the 350Z/G35C than anyother place.

Now what I need help with. I am getting a set of GL 57F-Pros for my G35 Coupe 6MT straight from Ray's Japan. (19x10.5 and 19x9.5) The thing I need to know is what should the proper offsets be to achieve the nice lip shown on the RX-7 (Hopefully you guys know what car im talking about.). It was stated on the bottom of the pic that the car had:

here are the specs for the RX:
F - 18X9 +18 235/40
R - 18X10 +22 275/35

The offsets for the Rx7 give the rear 87mm lip, and the front 68mm lip. Are these offsets possible on the 350Z/G35C? The lip on the rear is just about over 4" and that is what I'm looking for. If you have any advice what offset the 350Z/G35C needs for these rims that would be great. Also if I order the rims with the same offset as the Rx7, what size spacers would I need to mount the rims on?

You guys are the best.
Thanks

The offsets in 19"are not as good as the 18" 57f-pros IMO

you could use the same sizes on the RX-7 but you would have to roll your fenders.

In 19" it looks like you could go -
19x9.5f +19 61mm lip
19x10.5r +17 86mm lip

this would get you the lip, but you would have to roll your fenders and the wheels will stick out past the body a bit.

some guys have TE-37's in
19x9.5f +22 and 19x10.5r +22

They stick out pretty far, and you'd be out 3 to 5 more mm.

Do you think if I went with:

19x9.5f +19 61mm lip
19x10.5r +17 86mm lip

I would need 5mm spacers to keep it from rubbing the calipers? Or is it fine with those offsets that it would miss the calipers by a mm or 2?

Thanks again!
