question bout drivng w.o tpms
I was just wondering how often will the beep occur if I won't have tpms in my weels. because whenever I have low pressure in my tires now (with tpms) it beeps more often than every 50 miles so I was just wonderin how annoyin it will be to drive w.o TPMS
Thanks
Thanks

I never notice it....it comes on near the end of my 30mile commute each way. (I see the light come on, but never hear the beep...but my car is kinda loud, so I don't hear much)

I never have TPMS (winter and summer wheels are both aftermarket setups without TPMS sensors installed), and my car never beeps at me. The 'Low Pressure' light blinks when I start the car and it stays on, but no beeping sounds. I got used to the light being on so it's no big deal.

I have a 2003 model with TPMS. I mention that it’s a ’03 because that year displays the actual pressures in the multi-function LCD cluster gauge along with an audio warning. I believe that this was later dropped in favor of a warning light and an audio warning.
Anyway, I don’t have the sensors installed in my winter wheel/tire setup. With this configuration the instrument only shows dashes (where I normally see the tires’ psi), and I never hear any audio beep. In other words, it acts as though I don’t have TPMS at all.
I didn’t install sensors in my winter wheel/tire setup because I didn’t want to pay for reprogramming the sensors twice yearly.

I have never had mine beep with my other set on. When you drive about 30 minutes or so at a steady rate the tire lite comes on though. Never the anoying buzz like when you have a flat though. Honestly I may pull them out next time I get tires.

I have an 07 and to my knowledge there is no audible beep. My owners manual mentions nothing about an audible beep. The older models I have read do have an audible beep, but only does that if the tire it is reading has low pressure in addition to the warning light. With the sensors completely gone, like if you put aftermarket wheels on with out TPS, the computer will pick this up as a malfunction and give you the light warning and I believe there is no audible beep. The low tire pressure warning and the malfunction warning of no TPS are picked up by the computer differently, and thus have different warnings. I can't confirm all of this as 100% correct, but this is what I have picked up from other threads regarding TPMS.
