Default Volk GTC 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 Opinions

I believe the offsets on these are something like +22mm. Does anyone have these sizes and how do they line up with the fender?

they'll be far from flushed, you want something in the single digits for a flushed wheel in those widths

I would have thought they would be pretty close.

Most people run 9.5/10.5 setups, he's asking about a 8.5/9.5 setup. this is equivalent to a 9.5+35/10.5+35 setup, nowhere near what "average" and nowhere near flush

I've never heard 8.5/9.5 +22 is equivalent to 9.5/10.5 +35 setup.

but I know 9.5/10.5 +22 volks are flush for sure.

Learn to use an offset calculator and you'll know what every size in every width is equivalent to

That's too hard. You have to go out to the car and measure stuff. I’d rather spend $2,800 for wheels based on someone’s opinion.

Wow those that I linked below look really tucked in to me and they have even higher offsets than the OP is asking about

https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....&highlight=GTC

And also your suggestion about getting single digit offsets shows how much you know about rims that will fit the Z properly.
that is tucked, his fenders aren't even rolled. and I run 8.5+2 245/35/19 with -1.6 camber and 9.5+5 285/35/19 with -1.5 camber rolled fenders, so I DO know what I am talking about. I'm still not perfectly flush with those single digit offsets

I have these wheels and they sit pretty flush. The rear fitment is good, front however is just sunken in a little.

Let me put it this way guys.....

Right now I have 20x8.5s +40 all the way around. It cant get much more sunken in than that. The 9.5 width in the back with +24 offset will move my wheels out another 30mm.

8.5 ET 22 front won't be "Flush" per se, but pretty darn close, I run 18x8.5 ET 24 up front and it looks great....with my stock suspension. I assume the lower you go, the farther out the wheels should go to make it look better. With that said, in no way am I ever interested in the "flush" look all the rage is these days. But these are the same guys that run 255's on 10.5" wide wheels and claim "itz stretched yo...thats the shiz deez dayz." So take their advice as a ricer offering sticker advice.

A 9.5 out back with a 24 offset will be plenty aggressive. Sure, it will sit like 1/2" inside the wheel well, god forbid! Ever see Ferraris, Porsches, Lambos? None of those have "flush" wheels and tires. Why? Because it's not safe, nor desirable for overall handling characteristics.

Waiting for these morons to come in and whine that you have to have a negative 5 offset to roll hard.

Well why should I assume that, he never stated it. All he asked was

Then you asserted that this was incorrect and no one runs single digit offsets
BTW, here is my 8.5+22 245/35/19 on the front before I installed my 20mm spacers, notice how they are "far from flushed". The rears are 9.5+5 285/35/19 and notice how those still aren't flushed with the fenders as evidenced my the shadows on the tires, I can go out at least 5mm more and still have full suspension travel without rubbing.

Notice, full tire tuck without rubbing

If the OP is happy with those offsets, then fine, just don't claim they are flushed when they have over 20mm of clearance still

my car, 19x8.5F +22 or +24 i believe
19.9.5R +22

This is what it will look like. Not the most agressive setup either, but it wont leave people thinking that you bought sedan offsets. Its perfectly fine. I am dropped on cusco zero-2 coilovers. I have not rolled the fenders, and it just barely clears the stock fenders.
