I wouldn't use nitrogen because, as my tires heat up, I keep letting air out to bring my pressures back where I want them. (before runs) I know that nitrogen doesn't change as much as air with heat, but if it changes at all, I want to be able to correct it before my run(s). And then, the day after an event, bring the tires back up to proper cold pressures. All of these changes are convenient with my air compressor at home and the one we use at the track. I don't think the same would go for nitrogen.

Good point... I would have no way to pump them back up in between runs if I needed to with nitrogen. Maybe I'll just use air..it's not like I'll be losing alot of performance using nitrogen. Thanks for the input. I think I'm just gonna stay with my 275/35 and 295/35 setup. I want to thank you all for your help and opinions. What about wheel spacers? My wheels have an offset like this...F=+32mm and the R=+35mm. I plan to get some Tein coilovers or a set of Eibachs with Tokico shocks. How much do I space the wheels out to get that flush look, but without rub. Also, will the spacers be ok for autocross? I'm looking at getting the spacers made by Kics Project. They seem to be very popular and very good quality. Let me know what you guys think? I forgot to mention that I finally decieded to run with the KDW NT's 275/35/18 in the front and 295/35/18 in the rear.

spacers are fine for autoX...I'll be running a 10 and 15mm Kics spacer this year.
Front: 275 w/ a +32 offset --> I'd say a 15mm spacer will make it flush
Rear: 295 w/ a +35 offset --> around a 15-20mm spacer will put it very flush to the rear fenders.
*this is based off of what I've test fitted about 1 week ago, lowered 2", no fender mods.
Front: 295 w/ +38 offset - 15mm spacer
Rear: 295 w/ +38 offset - 15mm spacer

**when you start to get to the maximum offset/tire sizes, it's best to get the tires/wheels, and then test fit w/ different spacers to see what looks best to you.

What do you recommend for suspension...Coilovers or just shocks and struts? What company would you recommend? I'm pretty sure on what I want to do as far as camber arms and such, buy sway bars and shocks or coilovers are where I'm having trouble figuring out what and who to use.

the short version
springs + shocks: allows each portion to be custom and to your need/driving style...height not adjustable after you get them
coilovers: you can corner balance them, mess w/ height...but they're more generic and usually not as many options b/c they come as a package.

I will be leaving the stock class here very soon when my stuffs arrives. I'll be running 18x10.5 (+15) enkei RPF1s with 285/30 v710s front and rear. Should be damn quick once I get this setup nailed down.

I'm just getting ready to mount my tires as I got them in yesterday. They're HUGE!!! Anyway, I'm using the stock TPMS sensors and they fit on my new rims. But the sensors are silver and my rims are black, so it doesn't look that gr8. I need to know if it's ok to mount the sensors like in this post...

I'm not really interested in spacers just yet, but they will come. I just wanted to find a good starting point to begin with. I'm just debating on wether or not to use my TPMS sensors. Ok, so it is extra weight, but it also lets you know you have a flat or going to have one soon. Say your in the middle of a run and the sensor shows that it's getting low. You can possibly avoid a blow out and damaging your rim. If you didn't have the sensor and this happened, you might as well start looking for a new rim or set of rims, because that one will be all F**ked up before you know it!
I'm definately sticking with the TPMS, but my question is that...Is the clamp band method good for autocross? Refer to post #30.. Thanks, ;-)

No, it's not an issue to have TPS on your tires for autocross. I've autocrossed with my stock rims/tires with TPS, and have driven it on a road course a few times. As long as the TPS are installed and tires mounted correctly, you should not have any issues.

Update!!!...............
Tires finally mounted w/ TPMS sensors attached using "The Band + Plywood Spacer Method." Just need to get an alignment and my sensors recalibrated. I will post pics after the visit to Nissan! I promise! ;-)
