Default Kics spacers installed (pics)

Before I bought these, I kept looking for actual pictures of what these would look like for the Z (I could only find the standard picture that was a 4 lug version)....so here's my pics:

10mm and 15mm (type w/ studs on spacer)

unboxed w/ all the lugnuts and sockets included:

side veiw:

mounted on the hub:

if you look on the A-arm, you can see a spot when it's rubbed clean...that from my last years wheels that would rub while hard cornering.

wheel is much more flush and clears my A-arm;

nope - I'll be using them for autoX, so speeds are lower.

*I did notice that if you hand tighten all of the kics' lug nuts onto the spacer, there's not really any movement of the spacer...seemed like a really good fit. (I also was driving them today going 75 MPH and didn't get any extra vibrations)

I also thought the Kics come with hub rings installed. The wheels sit very flush now. Does the thread from the original lugs hit the rim? It looks like the threads are sticking out enough to not let the wheel sit properly.

How about some pics of the car with your Enkei's! I love those wheels!

Nice peter, but you should have gone with the eibach spacers, they have built in hubcentric rings

I double checked to make sure that the OE studs wouldn't touch the wheel - no contact!

which Enkei's are you talking about...I've got 2 sets now

this is the only other shot I have w/ the spacers installed.

wheels: 18X10 +38, 295/35/18s

I was using the peice of wood to compress the suspension a bit so that it was a little easier to tell if it'd rub.

Dang Peter, I didn't realize you didn't roll your fenders yet, looks like a 315 or maybe even a 325 could be stuffed in the stock wheel wells

so here's where I'm at w/ wheels:

1) 18X10 +38 w/ 295/35/18 --> fits, but within 1-3mm of shock.
2) same setup as #1 w/ 15mm spacer --> fits
3) same setup as #1 w/ 20mm spacer --> rubs on fender.

so I can fit a 305 w/o rolling the fender, but to get to a 315, I'll need to roll the rears...which I plan to do next Thursday (running a 295Front and 315Rear is just too temping ...this all assumes that the tires will get enough heat in them to operate at 160-200F)

Many wheels (oem, Volk, etc...) have spaces on the back of the pad, so that the stock lugs will fit. I wasn't able to run this style with a set of Maya wheels that I had, because the back of the pad was completely flat. So, unless you're running something like a 25mm+ spacer, yes it will stick out, but may not matter depending on your wheel.

Looks nice. What is the offset on the front wheels? Or is it +38 all around?

+1, here's a shot of the wheels mating surface w/ the hub:

(bottom right, you can see the space between each hole for the studs)

yeah - same rim all around. (I was hoping to get the "perfect" offsets for these and not run spacers, but I had a really hard time finding anything much wider than 10" w/ offsets that were even close on a wheel that was performance oriented)

Nice man. Where did you find the 15mm spacers? No vendor that I've contacted seems to have it and won't have it for a very long time.
