Default Wheel Wax

Anyone know what is a good wheel wax to use on a polished lip. Please let me know if you have any other suggestions for getting water spots and grime off the wheel. Can you clay bar a wheel?

get some wheelwax, used it on my anodized lip GTS wheels, and now on my SFs and it works great. Not too sure on claybarring a Volk wheel, but I used it do it all the time on previous cars with OEM wheels.

Someone else also pm'd me on this topic too.

If you have a clear coat and it's not molested, apply wheelwax every time you wash and it helps with polished aluminum too with water stains and such.

I would make sure you aren't using an abrasive wheel wax though. I think they offer both.

You got to be kidding!! Anyways, wheel wax is probably the best out there & it's available at all Advance Auto Parts stores....for polished aluminum wheels try some Windex window cleaner.

you can clay your wheels, just make sure you use a very gentle claybar. Any synthetic sealant will work well on wheels, I just use my normal paint sealant without any issues

Best wax for clear coated wheels imo. A lil on the expensive side...but well worth the money.

wheelwax works great, BUT is not a polish probley will not remove imperfections, a wax is for protecting a polsh is for cleaning and is abbrasive a wax is non abbrasive has no cleaning power. KLAsse is also a good wax/selant to use for wheels and even your brembos or bbk. Klasse last a lot longer then teh wheelwax and has a better gloss and shine to it.

Just a side-note:

DON'T WAX CHROME!

I won't go into details, but chrome essentially has to breathe.
