How much do they weigh?

If the M6 style rim is available in a 350Z offset, you should market that. I think it would sell.

I love the step lip look. Have some good low offsets available and offer them in 19x10 or 10.5 in the rear and these things would be so hott.

Better yet, pleeeeassseeee make a replica of the new deep dish BBS's that are on the new Amuse Z. I would buy those in a heartbeat !!!!!

 

lol, replica wheels are pointless. the finish and quality is never the same, thats the man reason those bbs cost so much and look so good.

There are some pretty decent LM replicas out there. Certain 19" LM replicas weigh ~25-26lbs. Not super light, but then again, not that heavy. Volk GT series wheels are in the same weight range.

LMs along with CSL and M6 replicas in aggressive offsets would sell well.

Pointless is spending 8k on wheels or 30k on a amuse kit. After all this is a 350z not a ferrari. If someone is able to offer the product at a much lower and more resonable price, Im down. I understand the sacrifice in quality but some replicas are more than qualified for the type of driving most do. Especially regarding the replicas of the high end kits that are becoming avaliable. Yes I understand the ingenuity and craftsmanship that goes into these products and I can drool over them too. But unless you have a million dollars of disposable income, which most on this forum do not, then these wheels and kits that we dream of having for our Z's will never become a reality. The absolutley rediculous markup is just plain stupid... And thats coming from a Volk owner who paid close to 4k for Time Attacks, tires and lugs. With the accumulated experience Ive had in the car modding world Im beginning to realize that this frenzy to spend every dime you have on rare JDM bling is a bit silly even tho I myself am addicted. I'll take some nice replica BBS wheels with some low offsets and a replica amuse supperlagerra kit anyday of the week.

I dont mean to open another can of worms with the whole replica topic, but I would just really love to see more poeple able to enjoy these products without having to absolutley break the bank with these rediculous prices. Im all for paying a decent amount for my products dont get me wrong, but 30k for a kit ????? or 8k for some wheels ??? Where do you draw the line ?

Not sure about the replicas, but BBS LMs come staggered.

 

$8K wheels have their place, but not on a $30K car IMO. I'd prefer the real deal of course, but it's nice to have options. There are pretty decent quality replicas out there. It may not be up to the standards of a real BBS wheel, but for the street, it's more than enough.

Off-topic, but just don't ask for BBS center caps. That caused quite a bit of commotion on e46fanatics.

 

look dont get me wrong. im all for getting a good replica for body parts. but wheels are completely different. you paint over a body kit. if it fits good then yeah, you cant tell its replica. wheels on the other hand, are different. you can tell the world of a difference between lets say a luff wheel and a bbs wheel, even if they are the same design. look at the piaa super rossa and the stern beasts. they are almost identical in design but the finish is completely different. you can see the quality difference especially in person. even an untrained eye could tell which one was the "knock off".
