Default What do you think Tenzo Type-M Bronze

Hey everyone, I just got a 350z and I want to drop it and add some rims.

I have come across these rims that I like but I have never seen them on a 350z, I have been checking on google and nothing comes up.

anyways what do you guys think?

I have a daytona blue 350, if anyone has a pic of these rims on a 350 send me the link.

thanks

I really liked those rims as they are a replica of the BBS lm mag, I just saw them in a car mag.

no idea on fitment though. you would need to get very good fitment. make sure you can find the correct offsets in the widths and offsets you like.

I mean, they are Tenzo so I have no idea if quality sucks, how heavy they are, etc...

The site where I am going to buy them is packaging me with
8.5 front - 245.35.19
10 back - 285.35.19

I have to find out the offset.

I wouldn't do that. like, not even a bit.

the tire sizing sucks. and I can just guess that the offsets are probably high 20s if not 30.

that is the only problem with those types of rims is that there is no sizing chart. they try to say 'vehicle' specific fitment. even on tenzo's site I could not find a size chart and offset availability. like ****ing tire rack. they suck as well.

Here is Tenzo's Price list that shows all available sizes/offset combos, there is a link to this on every wheel description page on the Tenzo site:
http://www.tenzoracingsports.com/pricelist/wheels.html

It looks like in the Type M they have
19x8.5 +20 front
19x10 +19 rear

No worries, I only knew exactly where to find it because I was entertaining the idea of buying the DC5 or DC6 before I bought my WORK's.

The rear would fit nicely, but i don't think the 19x10 +19 would fit on the front, would it? Maybe the 19x8.5 +20 with some 10mm spacers would work well on the front?

I do like the look of the Type M, but I fear it will suffer from the same problem as the DC5 and DC6 suffer......NO CONCAVITY! I had the store in AZ test fit the DC5 on a 350Z and send me some pics and the spokes were too flat for my taste.

I didn't like the tire sizes they gave. and I ran a stagger very similar to that once and wouldn't do it again. I wouldn't make the rim width difference over 1 inch.

with a +20 offset I can't imagine it would be a flat face, and if so the pciture shown above is not real... it 'looks' pretty concave to me.

That's what I thought with the DC5, the problem is, at least for the DC5, the spokes are somewhat flat and the hub is sunk WAYYYY in.....

Here is the DC5 from the Tenzo site:

Now they list 19x10 +19 rear and 19x8.5 +20 front, which is what I was told was fitted by the shop in AZ. Here are the pics (if the shop wants me to remove these pics, just let me know):

Now the Type M might be different and the lower offset may mean more concavity. I would see if the shop you plan to order from could demo them on a Z before you purchase like the shop in AZ did for me.
