Angry HEATED! Need some help

Whattup,

So today I finally find a shop around my area to install my Ichiba 20mm wheel spacers. I drop my car off this morning hopeing everything will go well, but then i get a call saying that the spacers don't fit right on the hub (theirs a little gap in between) and he calls me over to take a look. So then he says he can get it to fit by grinding down the inside of the spacer, so i leave. But nope all else fails and he gives me a call saying that these spacers will not fit on the car ?!?! And now im really mad because i spent over $200 for these spacers that now don't work for my car when they are specified that they do. Not to mention the cost the shop is gonna charge me for labor. And a different shop that i brought my car too before said that installing these spacers was going to be a 10 hour job and cost over $500?! So can someone help me out here and tell me if i bought the wrong spacers, and now i gotta buy brand new ones and i dont know which to buy. I really want my rims to sit flush and just want to get this **** over with.
Alright thanks for listening,

Sean

Heres a link to the spacers:http://www.optionsauto.com/prodinfo....r=ICH-NS-50220

Is this really a job that requires a shop? I'm pretty sure that your trunk has all the tools necessary to get the job done.

try measuring the bore on one they havent ground yet, and make sure its 66.2. Also make sure they have removed the keying bolt from the front rotors, because maybe they are trying to grind a relief into the spacer for it?

+1. It should have been a straight install, as easy as taking off a wheel and putting it back on.

Get it out of that shop ASAP. Installing bolt on spacers is like changing a tire. You should NOT need a shops help for this. 10 hrs labor is a f*cking joke/rip-off.

wtf, you don't need to take off the rotors to install spacers! Not sure if the 20mm spacer has built in studs or not, but even replacing the extended lugs wouldn't involve taking off the rotors....

maybe that's the problem? the ichiba spacers have 10 holes, but you're suppose to take out the oem studs and replace them with the extended ones.

Yeah, just get your car out of the shop asap and read up in the DIY section for a few minutes, you'll figure it out. But while they are under there make sure they get the muffle bearings back into place and replace the headlight fluid. It's the least they can do.

If you just did a little reading before taking your car in you would have known how easy it is to install these spacers.

Always do your homework. If you don't, you're begging to get screwed over.

Alright, I understand. But what do I do now because if I attempt to do it myself, wont the spacer not fit correctly on the hub because they showed me space in between ?

Sorry about the mess. The correct bore is 66.2 mm inner diameter. But who knows what is inside the bag. If they do not fit then they do not fit.
