hey i'm thinking about buying these https://my350z.com/forum/socal-marketplace/340608-fs-2-25mm-spacers-built-in-studs-w-rings.html and was wondering if there would be a noticable loss of power since i'm adding weight to the rear wheels. I have 19' g35 rays rims and would like the rear to fit more flush. Also would the handling get better since rears would have a wider stance? thanks for the help, i searched and didn't find any info on this topic so no need to go nuts and tell me to search.

The spacers weigh atmost a couple pounds a piece. Just make sure you go poo before you get in your Z and the weight will be negated.

 

the spacer is near the center of rotation for the wheels...so it's rotational mass isn't as big of a factor.

 

i think hes talkin about the weight of the wheels it will be farther off center making more heavier.

I do find it interesting that people spend a lot of $$ buying lightweight wheels, and then add weights (spacers) to these expensive wheels. I suppose the way to dismiss this concern is that you add weight to the axle and not the wheel.

Then again maybe you don't know what the definition of "rotational mass" is.

I just had mine installed. Coming from a guy who's peculiar and **** retentive to the point where I notice every little obscurity...

Didn't notice jack sh*t different with the spacers in terms of power. Handling, on the other hand, does feel improved.

 

Oh, for **** sakes. Do you notice if you have a small bag of groceries in the car? Same thing.
