Default tires questions

hey guys, ran over a nail and took it into a tire shop for patch up and repair, they said my rears were almost bald but my front are still good, my question is, if i get rear tires but different brand is it OK? or do i have to change all fours?

^^ Mixing different brands of tires (front to rear) is possible, but it’s best to stay within the same tire group (i.e., if you have summer/performance tires on the front, mount the same on the rear). I think that is your plan.

You also get best results if you match sidewall rigidity and tread design. For example, mounting a tire with rigid sidewalls on the front teamed with a soft-walled rear tire may not provide the best result.

Tires are tested in groups of 4. The result of mixing tires is uncertain. Not good. Not bad. Just uncertain.
