I was thinking about purchasing a set of Nismo wheels 19"... 19x8.5 fronts, 19x9.5 rears with 245/35/19 toyo t1r fronts and 275/35/19 toyo t1r rears... I was looking in the nissan brochure and they say that if these wheels are installed then you also have to install the nismo suspension if your car has VDC... is this a way for nissan to try to sell suspension also? Anyone have this setup and can vouch for whether or not it caused any issues with VDC or TCS... thanks

 

Do sweat the wheel size or the warning. It's a CYA on Nissan's part.

VDC/TCS will stay happy if you keep the tires sizing proper. Check out this post in the Top 100 Questions thread:

It will explain what sizes you need to stick with to prevent TCS/VDC problems. BTW - I've been running on 19" Volks (as are thousands of other Z owners) with no VDC problems at all.
