StReTcHeD questions
Greetings, I just purchased a set of Volk GTF in MDC Gold I am possibly planning on running a stretched look but Ive got a couple questions first. Does a stretched setup make the ride feel harder, as in do you feel ALL the bumps in the road? Is it safe to run stretched on a DD that runs 90+ miles a day?
The wheels are 19x9.5+17 & 19x10.5+24. I am lookin at tire sizes of 235/35/19 F & 265/30/19 R. Does this appear to be the correct sizes for a good stretched look or will I need adjustment? Im thinking I will probably need spacers to get the wheels out to the right spot and am going to have the fenders rolled so they can go all the way out!
Thanks for your input fellas!

normal 275 for a 10.5
i have seen 255 even 245 on a 10.5 even 11. but those are the super aggressive VIP guys.
265 is fine plus you can slam your car. but nothing less than 265. 275/35 is nice too if the road is to loud or way to bumpy.

Well....I dont think I need to belong to the VIP club, but I would like to have a really good looking overall stretched appearance.
Ive got the Hotchkis drop, if I stretch am I going to need to go lower to make this look work or will that be ok?
Thanks guys

Enlighten me, I have no experience in this field? What does the offset do to stretching?
Also, if you are to stretch a tire do you have to choose one that has a greater % sidewall height to compensate for stretching?
Thanks!

I dont know what some of you guys are talking about. The stretch wont be too crazy and you should be fine daily driving with those tires sizes. Just make sure that they fitment is flush or else it will look stupid.
Fitment similar to this:
or dont even try.

That looks great! What are the specs on that setup if I might ask?
